Nataya – Wedding Editorial

July 24th, 2012

I recently shot a wedding look book plus editorial for Nataya. For the editorial, I used only available light (which meant window light).  Although I pumped up my ISO and shot pretty wide open, I still had to shoot at a fairly slow shutter speed – 1/60 of a second.  Since I was shooting primarily with my 70-200, 1/60 of a second was pushing it as far as not picking up camera shake.  However, at the end of the day – the images were appropriately sharp and had fairly low noise, so I was a happy photographer.

Nataya_wedding_1The wedding dresses were all inspired by the Victorian era and the line itself has always been vintage inspired – so I kept that in mind when I considered backdrop and colouring.
