126/365

May 6th, 2014

I spent the last 4 days in Texas.
We started off just outside of Round Top (pop. 90) and eventually made our way to Austin.

The prairie. Cherry pie. The hornet. Farm routes. Exploring. Thistle fields. No shoes. Three scoops of ice cream. Polaroids.
The kindness of strangers.
That about sums it up.

And no trip is complete without a visit by the police at the airport.
I’ll never be too old for this shit.

Day 126 of 365
(rehearsals for departure)

Shoulder-high thistle fields.  Old barns.  Oppressive heat.
