Thailand – Chiang Mai
April 30th, 2013And now for the final installment of my adventures in Thailand (check out parts one & two if you haven’t already).
Around the middle of December we boarded a plane and flew north, to Chiang Mai. This was probably my favourite part of the trip. We visited a traditional Karan tribe, where the women still practice the art of neck extension. We also checked out the white temple (and it’s less famous counterpart, the black temple). We went to an elephant camp, played with tigers, and stayed in the MOST magical place I have ever laid my head.
